I started HTML Coding (which is required to code a Website for the internet) when I was in secondary school back in Germany around 1997. Already at this stage, I really enjoyed doing this as a hobby.
This website and domain name, originally started of as a family website. The purpose was to share family content like photos and a news blog, with those overseas, after relocating to Australia in 2008. While at that point there was a need, that also required to extend the HTML knowledge already on hand, it quickly turned into a growing passion for coding, programming and Web Design.
Now, after the initial start, I want to reignite this passion and reuse this domain name, as my Web Presence for showing my Web Designs.
As I do this as a hobby, and not full time, I can only do a few new projects at a time, but my idea is, to help family, friends and friends-of-friends with their small business, as a low-budget service provider to have their Web Presence established including Webdesign, Webhosting, Email Account Managment, Websecurity and the required maintenance.
What I realised is, that these days a business - no matter if large or small - needs to be present in the world wide web. Most of today's customers are using the internet and social networks, to look up and search for a business either in their area and beyond. Being “visible” in the web with platforms like Google etc., is important....and I can help you with this.
Building your own website is also not easy and does take some time. A lot of low-budget companies offer easy websites, but they don’t offer a lot of flexibility to have it "your way". Then there are more expensive service providers out there offering professional services, which certainly are worth all the money. However the problem I seen, is that for a start-up business, or small-business, not many want to spend that much money at the start - Although, this is important for growing and kick starting any new or small business.
